Fargo Flood: Earth Dikes

Right now, the cities of Fargo and Moorhead are under flood warning. The river is projected to reach 40.5 feet by Friday, more than a foot over the crest of 1997. The cities are consumed with building flood protection and nearly everyone is encouraged to help in the flood fight.

Last Friday, I photographed workers putting up the earth dike along 2nd avenue north in Fargo. Expect more photographs throughout the week.
